This is my new puzzle, the Compy Skewb. It is a combination of the Skewb and the Compy Cube (shallow cut Dino Cube). It was conceived after a suggestion from Carl Hoff (wwwmwww on twistypuzzles.com) to make visible all internal parts of my Dino Skewb.
The puzzle looks like a cubic Elite Skewb but it only has four layers. The tips do not turn on their own, they are linked to the internal Skewb. This allows them to display both the internal Skewb's corner orientation and permutation. The tips are not trivial.
This puzzle can be bought as a DIY kit from my puzzle shop. A DIY kit contains just the 3D printed pieces needed to build the puzzle, you will need to supply your own stickers and screws, springs and washers (usually M3 size). For an additional fee, I can sell you an assembled and stickered puzzle.
