Mini Pentultimate
I designed the Mini Pentultimate in August after a challenge from Andrew Cormier to make a very small Starminx. After succeeding at that, I decided to take it one step further and make this puzzle. Measuring 25mm on an edge, this is the smallest mechanical Pentultimate in the world. And quite possibly the best turning one.
The Mini Pentultimate takes advantage of the properties of Shapeways' white, strong and flexible material and has very thin and delicate pieces. Even though the puzzle could quite well be made a little smaller, I quite like this size.
This puzzle can be bought as a DIY kit from my puzzle shop. A DIY kit contains just the 3D printed pieces needed to build the puzzle, you will need to supply your own stickers and screws, springs and washers (usually M3 size). I no longer sell assembled puzzles directly.
